The Werewolf

It was a cold night. The werewolf howled, roaming the woods, searching for revenge on Christopher, the human that tried to get rid of him.

“We’re getting close,” Val whispered.

“I know.” Christopher’s eyes darted to the forest.

Sometimes people called Christopher selfless, but most of the time Christopher didn’t agree with them. He knew he wanted credit for killing the werewolf. Then he saw red glowing eyes.

Then the werewolf jumped out of the trees. And the werewolf was face to face once more. Then Val said catch. What was is in Christopher’s hand was a pocket knife.

Then Christopher ran right in to the Werewolf. Then the werewolf
Beat him and Val up. Then there was a loud gun fire. Then the werewolf fell. They soon found out he was shot. The werewolf was no more.

But who was strong enough to shoot the werewolf? The person was Eric.

Then he ran.

The end
Or is it?

Never Mess with your Sister!

One day after school last year, my sister Hannah and I were in a big fight. I wanted to wear her boots, and she wouldn’t let me so we started fighting. I was so mad at her. It wasn’t fair that I always had to share things with her, and she never shared things with me. All through dinner she kept poking me, and I wanted to poke her back.
After dinner, she was doing her homework in our room on her bed. We have bunk beds, and she was on the top bunk. I was really mad at her, and I climbed up on the side of the top bunk and poked her really hard on the arm. She got so mad she pushed me, and I fell off the side of the bed and landed on really hard on the floor.
I knew something was wrong because my whole arm was stinging so bad. I started crying really hard. Hannah ran and got our mom, and they took me to the hospital. I remember going back to the x-ray room. They put this big thing around me and made me stand in front of this big light. After the x-ray, they took me back to my mom.  A few minutes later, a doctor came in and said, “You have a broken collarbone young lady.”
A few minutes later a lady came in and put a cast on me. It was from my shoulder all the way down and around my waist. They gave me medicine so the pain would stop.
When it was time to go a nurse took me to the car in a wheel chair. When I got home I went up stairs and went to sleep. The next morning my sister was at school, and I was at home. When I got up to use the bath room I could feel the broken part moving. That day my mom was at work and my dad was watching me. My papa came over to my house to see how I was doing. He brought me a milk shake from Big Boy.
When Hannah got home she gave me candy. I think it was because she felt bad for hurting me. I felt sad because I could not do anything, except sleep. It was hard for me to go somewhere. I felt bad and all I wanted to do is sleep. I felt dead.
I learned to never mess with my sister.

My First Strikeout!

I was at the softball field at 6:00, ready to pitch my first game. I was scared because I didn’t know what to do. The first pitch was a ball, it was too high. The second pitch—ball, it was too low. The third pitch—ball, it was outside. The forth pitch—BALL … UGG! I had just walked the first batter.  I felt like I was going to cry. I was already nervous and that just made it worse.
My coach pulled me over and talked to me. He said, “Throw a little softer, and calm down.”
I looked over in the stands at my mom. I could tell she was hoping for me to throw a good ball.
I took a deep breath and threw the ball. I knew it was a good because the batter hit it. I was happy that it was a good throw, but I didn’t like the other team scoring a run.
I started to finally calm down, and I wasn’t nervous any more. Then the third batter came up to the plate. I threw the first pitch, she swung and missed! I threw the second pitch, she missed again—STRIKE 2. I knew I just needed one more good pitch, and I could get her out. I took a deep breath and looked over at my mom. I thought to myself “Come on Ella, YOU CAN DO THIS!” I threw the ball. The umpired yelled, “STRIKE 3, YOU’RE OUT!!!
I was so happy!! Everything that happened after that is almost a blur because I was so excited. Even though we lost the game, I was very proud of myself and I had a good time. I will never forget my first throw.

For the Win!

I will never forget my first basketball game at Kentucky Basketball Academy.  We had been practicing for weeks and deep down I knew I was ready, but I couldn’t stop feeling nervous.  This was my first game and I didn’t want to mess up.

All I heard was my mom screaming, “Go Christopher Go!!” Someone on my team passed me the ball.  As soon as I touched the ball, a player from the other team smacked the ball out of my hands and he stole it.  The referee called a foul because he hit my face when he was smacking the ball.  They let me take 2 free throw shots; I missed the first one but made the second.
It was now the other team’s ball.  They came dribbling down the court and their player made a 2 point shot. Now, they were up by one.  That is when I really started getting nervous.
It was our ball and there were 3 minutes left in the game.   We were passing the ball back and forth to each other to run out the time.   Finally with 30.1 seconds left, my friend Lucas shot the ball!! SWOOSH!!!  He made the shot and we won by 2!! I couldn’t believe it!!  We had won our first game and we all went home happy.

The end
