Chicago! A Great Place to Visit!!

Over the weekend I went to Chicago!! On Thursday we stopped in Indianapolis, and the hotel we stayed in was huge. Our room had two bed rooms, and they had their own bathrooms. We had Steak and Shake for dinner. I got chicken tenders and fries. After dinner, we went back to the hotel and went to bed.

We woke up and had breakfast in the hotel, got all our stuff in the car, and my dad put his Ipad on top of the car. He made sure that everything was in the car and he got in and drove off with his Ipad still on the roof.

So like an hour later we could not find the Ipad and that’s when we pulled over to look in the trunk. It was not there, so we drove the rest of way to Chicago.

When we got to our hotel, we went to our room and then left to go get lunch. We ate lunch at a place called Rock Bottom, and the food was really good. We then caught a cab and went to navy Pier and did a boat tour. You could see all the buildings in Chicago!!! After the tour, we went to the Big Bean, and it was so cool!!!!! It looked like a huge mirror. Next we took a taxi back to our hotel. My mom and I went swimming, and my brother and dad stayed in the hotel room. When we came back to the room, we got ready for dinner and ate at this really nice place. I forgot the name of it, but the food was really good. After that, we walked around and then we took a taxi back to the hotel.

The next morning we had breakfast in the hotel and we went to the Jon Hancock building. When you are in the elevator you shake a little because you are going to the 94th floor in 42 seconds. The view was amazing!!! You could see everything!!! It was so cool!!! Next we went back down, then we went to the subway and it took an hour to find it.

We took the subway to a place called Wrigley field were the White sox play. We stayed there for about 45 minutes before taking the subway back to our part of Chicago. We then went to the Lego store. Then we got lunch and I got a cheese burger and fries. We were so full we went back to the hotel and rested. At dinner, we ate the rainforest cafĂ©, and it was cool. They had huge fish tanks and each tank had almost one hundred fishes in it!!!! We sat next to one of the tanks so we could see fish when we were eating. I got a hotdog and fries and it was good!!! We then walked around and then went back to the hotel and went to bed.
The next morning we had to leave. I was sad. We had Duncan doughnuts for breakfast. We got all the stuff in the car and left. We had Steak and Shake for lunch and went the rest of the way home.
The end

Art We'll Always Remember!

Parents love anything their child creates, but wouldn't it be cool if they could have their child's masterpiece on a garden flag, or maybe a coffee mug?

Our school recently took part in an "Art to Remember" project. This is an opportunity for the school to make a little extra money while allowing the parents to purchase items for family and friends.

Here is an example:

I think that would look great on a mug or refrigerator magnet, don't you?
